Arno comes from England. They have a special hydraulic manifold block, which includes 13 groups of M32 threaded holes, and all of them are stepped holes. AAK engineers pondered over the drawing of hydraulic manifold block sent by Arno, and it is really difficult to process, with very high precision. There are not only many pore systems, but also many deep holes, more than 20 groups of Φ3 Φ4 deep holes, with a length diameter ratio greater than 25. For M32 threaded holes of stepped holes, the coaxiality between holes is required to be 0.02mm, and the coaxiality between threads and holes is required to be 0.045mm. This complex pore system structure is like the distribution of the nervous system of the human brain. Doctors without more than 10 years of experience in brain surgery may not be confident to operate on the operating table.

 

AAK technical team, after 3 days of internal research and discussion, the plan has been worked out, and our chief engineer will handle the knife, starting from the production drawing of the hydraulic manifold block. However, I replied to Arno that AAK was only 90% sure that the sample of this hydraulic manifold block was successful, and the cost was not low. Maybe Arno hesitated and didn't give any reply for 3 days. On the fifth day, AAK received the development fee paid by him. He mentioned that Jone told him that when AAK said it was 90% sure, it means that there was basically no problem.

 

After 20 days, AAK sent 4 hydraulic manifold block samples. 4 weeks after sending the samples, Arno placed a PO for hydraulic manifold block worth 80,000 US dollars. He also told me that the hydraulic manifold assembled with AAK hydraulic valve block was successfully debugged, and the customer was very satisfied. He emphasized that the quality of the batch order must be stable. I told him that as long as your customer is satisfied with the quality of the hydraulic manifold block sample, there will be no worry about the quality of the batch order, because the process and processing methods adopted by AAK guarantee the stability first:

 

1. For special hole system processing, AAK follows the principle of small hole priority, customizes alloy fried dough twist drill tools with large chip holding groove and good toughness, and solves the problem of small hole system processing by using the drilling cycle technology in combination with the processing method of "high speed, snack knife depth, frequent tool withdrawal".

 

2. For M32 threaded holes, the combination of rough and finish machining is adopted, and the thread milling cutter is used to replace the alloy boring cutter used by nearly 90% of hydraulic manifold block manufacturers for milling, so as to avoid the problem of coaxiality out of tolerance caused by manual tapping due to tap deflection.

 

3. AAK has designed a group of coaxiality gauges for measuring the thread hole system to assist in machining, ensuring the datum requirement of coaxiality of 0.02mm, and further improving the dimensional form and location tolerance accuracy by nearly 20%.
