The function of this solenoid proportional valve:
A solenoid-operated, 2 port, normally open, poppet type proportional, screw in hydraulic cartridge valve designed for low leakage in load-holding applications. When de-engergized, the SP08-21 allows flow from 2 to 1. Flow from 1 to 2 is severely restricted. When the valve is partially energized (see performance curve) the valve begins to throttle flow from 2 to 1. When fully energized, the valves poppet closes on the seat, blocking flow from 2 to 1. The cartridge will allow 1 to 2 flow after overcoming the solenoid force.
AAK has received 5 inquiries for this solenoid proportional valve within only 3 months, from May to July 2023, with 3 customers placed trial orders. This hydraulic solenoid proportional valve is not only widely used, but also has multiple functions, especially its good performance. Although some China hydraulic cartridge valve manufacturers can produce this hydraulic solenoid proportional valve, and its functions may also be compared to HydraForce standard part SP08-21, their solenoid proportional valve performance may be a problem.
