Maddox comes from Turkey and purchases many hydraulic flow control valves from Ningbo China every year. At the beginning of this year, a hydraulic flow control valve with hole accuracy requirement of within 2μm exhausted him. Their client was developing a hydraulic power unit in the aviation industry that requires the use of hydraulic flow control valves. Maddox still made samples from a hydraulic flow control valve manufacturer in Ningbo, but it didn't go smoothly. It took 75 days for the original manufacturer to adjust the valve hole accuracy twice, but it still couldn't meet the 2μm accuracy standard. The best accuracy can only be at 3μm. The customer has pushed the progress of the hydraulic flow control valve several times. Maddox realized that relying solely on the original manufacturer is difficult to achieve good results. After contacting several other hydraulic valve manufacturers in China, there is still no one who can guarantee the accuracy of the hydraulic flow control valve within 2μm, it takes time to make adjustments, Maddox was very anxious.
Maddox contacted me through the introduction of other hydraulic valve colleagues in Ningbo. According to his machining drawings for hydraulic flow control valves, most of the processes are not difficult, but the precision machining of the valve holes for hydraulic flow control valves is difficult, especially with an accuracy of within 2μm, this not only requires good equipment, but also requires experienced technicians. I provided a high-precision hydraulic flow control valve case from a Canadian client for his reference.
Maddox paid for the development fee the next day, and requested AAK to make samples. The encoder can be used for position measurement and can compensate for errors caused by tool wear and other reasons. At the same time, the ball screw is driven by a driving motor. The ball screw is pre tensioned and installed for interference, and there is no gap during the transmission process, ensuring that the accuracy tolerance is stable and within 2μm.
