Peter realized that the valve hole of this hydraulic flow control valve has high accuracy and is difficult to process. If the surface roughness and cylindricity error cannot be well controlled, it is easy to cause the valve spool to be stuck. Peter wanted to find more hydraulic flow control valve manufacturers in different countries online this time. For example, the abrasive particles are easy to be embedded in the workpiece surface, and the cutting is not easy to be separated from the grinding oil, resulting in poor cleanliness of the grinding oil. All these affect the surface roughness.

 

AAK realized this processing pain point as early as 4 years ago and adopted rolling technology to replace the traditional cutting method. I suggested that he communicate with the customer and let AAK directly test the sample. If the sample is successful, it will be quoted. If the sample fails, AAK will bear the development cost. On the 3rd day, Peter accepted my suggestion. After 35 days, 12 samples of hydraulic flow valves were sent out. About 2 weeks later, Peter said that his client confirmed AAK's hydraulic flow control valve. At this time, Peter realized the advantages of AAK and thanked me very much, which helped him face his old customer.

 

Rolling technology and cutting processing are completely 2 different processing methods. AAK tried, solidified and mass produced it 4 years ago. Roll the metal surface with rollers, flatten the convex part of the surface, and bulge the concave part, and then process it into a smooth mirror like surface. The most important thing here is the rolling details. The surface roughness of the valve hole processed by the old experienced technicians will be increased to nearly 1% compared with the surface roughness after grinding, so that RA is 0.10 ~ 0.15, and the cylindricity error is controlled within 0.003. After work surface hardening, the wear resistance is improved, and the fatigue strength can be increased by 30%. There are many advantages, but there are not many manufacturers of hydraulic flow valves using this process, and even fewer can control the details.

 

3 days later, Peter sent the PO for the hydraulic flow control valve. He told me that the stone hanging in his heart finally fell, and the meal was more delicious. I told him that you only need time to receive the goods. Go to the bar when you need to, and leave the rest to AAK.
