Threaded cartridge type hydraulic control direction change, two-position four-way, slide valve type.
OPERATION
In the initial position, the E-PD16-S60N allows fluid to flow between ports 2 and 3 and between ports 4 and 5. When the remote hydraulic control signal reaches 1, the spool moves to allow the oil to flow between oil ports 3 and 4 and oil ports 2 and 5. The oil drain hole of the spring chamber is connected to the oil tank through the oil port 6. The drain spring chamber allows the spool to be fully pressurized at ports 1, 2, 3, and 4 without affecting the desired pilot pressure. The pressure on port 6 will affect the required hydraulic control pressure.
